It’s been awhile!
There is a lot to catch everyone up on! I have been out of the loop for the holidays and a couple pet sitting gigs, but I’m here and ready to do this!
First I need to start with the 5k. It was awesome!! The feeling of crossing that finish line was amazing. I forgot how good it felt to compete and actually finish something I never thought I could. Dr. Skyler and I ran 3 minutes walked 1 minute. I only had to walk longer twice. Our ending time was 38:22. She was completely fine but I was TIRED! Here are a few pictures!



I had a great time and I can’t wait until my next 5k! The next one I am doing is the Paramount Break A Leg 5k on February 20th. I can’t wait to see how much my time improves.
So back to tri training. It’s been really cold so I am taking it easy on the swimming aspect. To be honest I haven’t been at all for 3 weeks! Brrr:) I have however started the major training for running and biking. I am just doing gym training right now because I get out of work when it is dark out and I don’t feel safe on the roads after dark. I barely feel safe on the roads when it is light out! I have started running 2 miles a day and biking 7 miles a day. I hope to increase the biking to 12 miles by the end of the month.
I started the Biggest Loser at work. We are “competing” against each other to see who loses the most percentage wise each week. Today was the end of the first week and I did not win:( But it’s okay. It just gave me the motivation to kick some butt this week. Bring it on VetBeauties!!
